"How-To" Guide for Doing Surveys
This book chapter discusses Mathematica's experience conducting phone interviews with people with disabilities and presents recommendations for making phone surveys more accessible. Concrete examples of minor modifications to the survey instrument that can remove barriers and improve self-response rates are provided.  The authors note that these minor modifications are neither costly nor difficult to implement.
