Many MIG projects are currently working with employers and the business community to try to address some of the misconceptions around employing people with disabilities. Some of these projects include research components.
This section includes employer surveys on improving workplace environments and access. It also includes findings on employer attitudes toward workers with disabilities and overcoming physical, technological, and personal barriers to employment for adults who want to work that may be of use to MIG states in conducting their own employer-based research.
