Youth in transition generally focuses on the period when youth with disabilities are between the ages of 14 and 25. Transition generally means moving from school to work or school to higher education or vocational training, but can also mean moving from home to independent living.
Some MIG states have initiated projects for youth in transition or coordinated resources with existing programs designed to assist transitioning youth. Research tools and findings from these projects, along with other information on Youth in Transition projects, are presented here.
